How the e-book Series All Came About -- Maybe You Can Relate.
These cards were designed to say what you have buried deep down. They were written to make you feel like you can express yourself to others without having to take a class or learn to do public speaking. I am speaking this from my own experience. I used to have a hard time, when I was younger trying to get a point across to others. I used to say one thing, but what I was trying to say came out a different way. Some people misunderstood me. I got so flustrated at them, that I decided to talk 'less'. See, even I have issues, too.
Then one day I was sitting down and I was like "you know what, you can always talk to The Lord about anything". "Lord, you already have everything and own everything, so since I don't have a tongue for prophetic speaking - I am just going to start writing to You". I refused to use boring plain paper, so I would go to the store and buy a card. We have two services on Sunday, and I would go to the card store in between services. My two daughters would be like "Momma, why do we have to go to the card store All the Time? Who are these people you keep getting cards for?" I would pick out a different card each time, trying to match it up with something good that had happened that week.
I realized that as I started writing to God about things in my life, that I was writing better than I can talk. And I also realized that there are other people who are frustrated with some of the same things that I was going thru. I would overhear a conversation in a store and remembered that I had written a card to God about that very same thing. Wow, other people have issues too! Sometimes people would come to me and tell me what kind of hard time they were going through, and I would write down a short note to encourage them, and the strong would cry and all would be 'touched' by the heartfelt words. Read What This is All about Here...Then people started asking me to write something to say for funerals, or weddings, or birthdays, or get-well situations.
When I write cards to the Lord, I wasn't always complaining, I would be having a conversation with Him, telling what I was having an issue with. But then you have 'those people' who try to take advantage of your gift or abilities, and I had a choice to either get upset or just let them fade into the past and keep writing. I had one individual who took what I wrote, copied it and took credit for it... Now I could have embarrassed him, but I choose to just write another card - about him!! Sister Girl has to deal with things too!
I never charged people for the notes I wrote, I just liked to help people. That is why the e-book isn't $99.95! To this day I still have all the cards I wrote to the Lord, hoping that maybe one day He will send an Angel to pick them up! Now if my children read this, they will know why I had been stopping by the card store so often. :) I am continuing to write new cards almost every single day and will continue to use the gift God gave me to help people to relate and express themselves.
This is how these cards came about. This is why we run specials every Now and Then. This way, if you come across a situation in life, you won't have to run out to the card store - you can just print out the right card, fold it, and mail it to whoever it needs to go to! I am sure you know people who can relate to these cards and will appreciate them, so don't be shy - tell your friends.
