Deep Thinking:  The Human Race

When God created humans, He created humans ‘male’ and ‘female’. When females are born, they have different looks but all the same body parts. When males are born, they have different looks but all the same body parts.

When God created mammals; Lions, dogs, cats, zebras, horses, etc... the males all have the same parts, the females all have the same parts. The mothers all feed their young through breastfeeding. God’s creation is overwhelmingly male and female.

Being human is your race. Color is your appearance. All human males have the same parts, all human females have the same parts... the appearance is what makes them more interesting.

Human’s are one race. Color is not your race. Color isn’t who you are. Color doesn’t determine ability, talent, smarts, compassion, or opportunity.

Culture and prejudice may influence these things, but God gives humans of every color, gifts and opportunity to use. Mammals don’t get the option to choose how they use what God gives them, but humans do!

Deep Thinking:  The Outsider

There are some people I refer to as ‘the outsider’.

Once they are on the outside they put on the front of being so nice, very friendly, and outgoing..

but if you live next to an outsider you can really hear what goes on behind closed doors, they yell, they scream, they curse.

You can hear the outsiders from two houses away, even though they are inside their home.

Different person all together once they step outside their door, they smile and act happy.

Can anybody relate to this?

Deep Thinking:  Today

Who have I offended today? Was it because I got up on he wrong side of the bed?

Did I start my day off driving crazy while going to work, not thinking about the potential harm I could have caused with an accident?

Refused to greet someone who said Good Morning, possibly hurting their feelings with my rudeness?

Did I spill my coffee and instead of cleaning it up I left it for someone else to slip on, or put their papers down on, or someone else to clean?

Could I have made a different choice today, Instead of upsetting innocent people because I choose negativity?

The Bible teaches us to focus on good things; love, joy, peace, things of good report. When you place your attention on these things you would apologize if you offended someone and try to make it right because you don’t want to be the starting point to ruining someone else’s day!

Deep Thinking:  Would I get involved?

Would I get involved? How much would I get involved? Do I really know me?

What if I be at the right place and see something happen? Would I be afraid? Would I say something?

Or do nothing and just be thankful that it is not happening to me?

What if I see a lady that has two children, one an infant, one a toddler. The toddler decides to take off running towards traffic, the mom starts running after her child, leaving her belongings on the bench.

Someone else sees the abandoned belongings, the child running and the mom distracted- they grab moms purse and start running.

They give me a mean look and I have a choice to make: I know this mom is saving the life of her child and the thief is taking advantage of it, so do I keep quiet in fear choosing to not be involved because of intimidation or ... take action to stop the thief?

How many people does it take to stop a crime?
Am I being a good neighbor according to the scriptures in the Bible?

Deep Thinking: How much do I like my neighbor?

If you were looking out the window Monday and witnessed something unusual happening,

You could have called the police, but thought to yourself ‘these people are always getting on my nerves ‘ and turn your back and walked away from the window.

When they got home They questioned everyone ‘did You see something?’ You avoided talking with them because You did see something.

You thought ‘It was something minor, and they ‘deserved’ it.’

Was that wrong?

The Bible says ‘love thy neighbor’, were you that neighbor?
