Examples on Life's Journey

What Inspires me to write, is Life.

Life sometimes takes us on so many journeys, some good, others a learning experience, and some are the kind people freak out on!

What Learning experience do you have that you share with others? or that nobody will ever hear or learn from them?  So these Ideas go with you to your grave!

I Love Learning from what I go thru and what I hear that others have been through.  Example:  here is something that happened to me recently.
Maybe you can benefit from it.  An individual arrived asking for 'John Doe'.  This person arrived late to their interview.  When John Doe comes downstairs the interviewee tells John Doe a lie that 'I' was the one who was late in letting John Doe know they were here - I kept them waiting.

Later on I received a call from my 'leader', about a complaint made by John Doe as told by the lying visitor.  They arrived late, getting an innocent person in trouble, or maybe losing their job!  The interviewee walks away leaving the place.  Now you still see John Doe every day, so you wonder ' do I tell them the Truth?'  Part of me is offended, but I thought to myself 'you can't let your emotions affect how you treat them.'

I say to myself ' what goes around, comes around' and I realize that if someone like this who gets hired on and does that much lying and complaining, Rarely last long.  They stir up too much confusion.  And it shows really poor judgment on John Doe's part.

Just wanted you to know that you are not alone - we all go thru crazy things.  In case it wasn't clear, I decided to let it go.

TRUST: a Teacher's Influence and Authority

So many people's lives have been ruined because of someone they trusted.

I remember asking a question to an individual and the answer I received was shocking.  Their Parents trusted someone to do what was right and Instead they planted horrible seeds that caused this person to give up!

Now you be the judge:

I said to John Doe, 'You are so skilled in _____, why haven't you gone any further?  You could have had your own company by now.'

They replied, 'When I was in the 8th grade, I really enjoyed going to school but this one teacher was a real challenge for me.  This Teacher did not have a lot of patience with us.  I was told 'I have seen your kind before, you are just trying to get me to not teach class and spend all this time helping you'.  And the teacher went on to say, 'It's not going to happen, either keep up or quit, because you have no excuse.'

Since 'John Doe' could not keep up, they started skipping class and found other students who were doing the same thing.  Several of these students were smoking and 'John Doe' started smoking also.  Hanging out with the wrong crowd led to other things, worse things.

Why?

Because of what a Teacher said to them in front of the entire class, embarrassing them, instead of having patience.

Just because someone has a 'title', does not mean that they enjoy doing what they do - or that they are qualified for it.

This Teacher's authority and influence hurt this person's self-image and the damage done they are still experiencing today.

Have to be Right?

I observe an individual that always has to be right.

They don't care what you think or know, as long as they are in the spotlight.

They argue about this and that...

Even about things they don't know anything about.

I found how to keep the peace.

And that is to make them 'think' they are running the show.

Teasing IS Bullying

Never make fun of somebody's child, one that has taken the wrong turn.

You will discover that the child's single day or night of fun, that they 'thought' they could handle, destroyed them.

While being out with close friends, that influence caused them to develop a strong addiction to lead them to a dead end.

Teasing others IS a form of Bullying.  So never make fun of someone's child for what they have done.

Remember, it could have been you, because 'There is Nothing New Under the Sun.'

A Woman's Self Esteem

10/4/2014

When a Man works on a Woman's Self-Esteem, he knows what he is doing.

One thing that females have going for them is their Self-Esteem.

When that Self-Esteem is destroyed, she can no longer make eye contact with anyone for a long period of time.

She has been told by him that no one will ever want her, that she is ugly, not worthy of anything, can't do anything right, that she is too fat or too skinny and the list goes on.

When a Man destroys a Woman's Self-Esteem, he can destroy her and prevent her from ever being the same.
