Group Approval - Peer Pressure

Have you ever acknowledged a group of people and one made eye contact with you but he or she looked to see if the group said anything.

Why?

Trying to be a part of a group that is setting a horrible example is not good, if you know what I mean.

Don't be afraid to be different, acknowledging anyone that says hi or hello to you.

Do you ever think about how your life is going to be from start to end?

Do you ever think about what year you are going to hit a downfall, that causes you to be homeless, starving and almost out of your mind?

Do you know who you have mis treated that you will need their help later in life? They may not give it to you because you treated them so horribly.

Life is called life for a reason.

Treat everyone with Respect. whether they treat you with respect or not.

You just never know whose little small donation of blood might just save your life.

And it won't be the ones you gave all the extra attention too - it will often be those you overlooked.

Said it...but maybe shouldn't have

I observed an individual that was so mad as they walked by my area. They were telling someone else that 'they' should have won and received the award. 'the nerve of so and so for not recognizing me for what I do!'.

The thing that was really shocking about this was that this person was in a Leadership position. Because they didn't receive the reward that they thought they would get, their words displayed out loud the horrible anger they felt.

It did not matter who heard them, it was in their mind 'me, me, me'.

Now they can never look at me the same, because they know that I know.
