Judged on Your Outward Appearance

It does not matter where you are or where you have been, some people will always prejudge you by the color of your skin.

Black or white, rich or poor, sometimes in life you just have to go through these doors.

It does not matter what your blood type is, or the size of your body, no one is exempt.  And when you go through these things, never think you are alone, or that nobody understands, because that is just a trick of the enemy...

King Solomon said 'there is nothing new under the sun'.  In other words there is no way to escape being judged based on your outward appearance.

Overcome all evil with good.

Environment, Environment, Your Environment

Do you notice yourself?

There are times that anger can come upon you suddenly and then it goes away.  You were so close to doing something horrible, yet you did not do it.

How many people think about what they do, when a thought pops into their mind.  And really think about the consequences for it, or do they just go with the flow?

Do they just go with what is expected by the people around them, the environment they spend their time in?

They are saying unnecessary words and doing unnecessary acts, does this describe you?

What choice have you been making?

Think for yourself, Act for yourself

or

Think and act like others tell you to?

Do I Really Know People?

7/21/2015

Who do I really know?

There are people that I may see on a daily basis, maybe even work with.  I might even talk to them, or just simply acknowledge.

Who do I really know?

There are some who leave work at the end of the day, or leave home in the morning, and spend time in a hospital waiting room instead of going where they planned to go.

Their loved one is not doing so good.

Now if I had known that, would I have stopped gossiping about them?

If they are not acknowledging me, not talking to me, they might have a good reason.

The next time you are getting offended, stop yourself and think: They might need to hear a concerned voice and get some support from you that day.

Say "God loves you and so do I".  You might be the only Love or Compassion they have felt in awhile.

Fly on the wall. . .Is that You?

Many people that make it to the Top, becoming very successful, are often the ones that were just like a 'fly on the wall'.  No one noticed them.  In other people's eyes they are just a nobody.  They are often the nerds, the weird, the odd, they don't really fit in.

They might stand alone, but what they do in secret makes them a Winning Champion for success.  They looked, they observed, they noticed, they pay close attention, yet they don't say a word.  Many times they pretend like they don't know that much, because they know that if others find out that they are smarter then what they pretend to be, it could cause offense.

Have you ever noticed that when someone makes it to the top, others could have been seeing them or working with them and never knew they had it within them.  They are shocked when they see this 'fly' make it to the top, because they never really paid them any attention.

That fly was nothing to them, it was just too little to be noticed.  They were too busy trying to suck-up to management instead of noticing the diamond hidden inside the fly on the wall.  If you are that fly, don't be ashamed, many very successful people, did not attend college and were often the weird odd ball.

You can Make it too!

Who Am I?

Who am I?
Do you ever ask yourself the question, 'who really are you'?
I ask myself, and observe myself, all the time.  Some people really don't know who they are, they just go with the flow.

Example:
You ask someone the question, 'So why do you do that?'
They might respond by saying 'I have been doing this since I was a child, I have seen my parents doing it'.

Then you asked, 'Do you like doing it?'
They reply by saying 'I have been doing it for so long, that it doesn't matter now'.

With that statement I learned a lot.
To me you never really said 'I love doing this, I enjoy every moment I get, So I look forward to this every chance I get'.

So....
Do you watch people sometimes?  Just to see if they are doing things because they have seen someone else doing it?  Or are they doing it out of habit?

Then ask yourself, 'Do I do this very thing that I have been secretly criticizing this person about?
Do I hate, frown on, or dislike someone based on information that was said to me, that I have no way of knowing it was true?
Is this me?

Then ask yourself, what if someone dislikes you and you never knew why?
Could it be what you did to someone else has came back on you?
Or maybe it was because they judged you according to someone else's comments instead of getting to know you for themselves.

There are so many people that you see on a daily basis that you see and probably acknowledge, but do you know them?
Who are they really?
If someone tells you a lie, would you believe it? or would you say 'no, no' to them?

Questions, Questions to ask yourself
So you can learn who you are, because you know you, and not because someone said something else about you.
