and people that don't make sense?
or sometimes people that settle for less, thinking that this is all that they can do?
but are worth more?
who are not making enough to make ends meet?
These same people offer their company the BEST employee they can be, but the company accepts their BEST service and NEVER offers them a raise of do anything nice for them.
Sometimes a simply $15 or $25 Gift Card or a $10 lunch 'on me' today is a powerful Thank You. When you do something like this, you are gaining their trust, showing them that you care - they might cry, and if they do just say 'Praise the Lord' and give them a hug.
This is something so little to you, but such a big deal to them. They might have never had anyone give them anything before, or even appreciate what they do.
Your name will be brought up to friends, family, loved ones and in church. When that next service takes place they will Encourage others by testifying about what you did for them. This will Encourage so many other people who are going thru similar tough times that they can hold on. All over something that is just 'pocket change' to you. Because you gave them something called 'HOPE'.
Because of what you did, if this person ever hears someone talk bad about you or plotting trouble for your company, they will step up to defend your reputation and let you know what is going on. Loyalty was created.
Again all because of 'pocket change' to you.

Personal Note:
I remember going to work, every day, getting paid but not ever having enough. I had too much pride to say I was hungry. So every time I had a break, I would take a walk. I could not tolerate looking at others eating in the cafeteria or break room while I did not having anything to eat for myself. At work I was living of eating chewing gum. Every time my stomach would growl really loud, I would trick myself into thinking I was getting food by putting a half stick of gum in my mouth. The two sticks of gum broken in half would be enough to make it thru the day.
Sometimes water can help curb your food cravings. People look so much on the outside appearance. I always treated people with respect, and no one knew that even though I worked their - I was struggling. And it wasn't just me, I could see others struggling as well. Often the ones who don't talk a lot - mostly quiet.
So next time, if you ever hear a voice to do something nice for someone, or it is put on your mind to do something nice - PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't go by appearance. Appearances can be deceiving. They might know how to iron or have a good clothing selection, but they might be struggling every other way.
Do Good. Help your fellow humans. :)
