I visited a church and watched as people 'reserved' seats for someone who showed up really late, denying the seat for others who made a sacrifice to show up on time. Made elderly people stand or find other seating somewhere else.
They did it to avoid sitting next to certain people that they found unacceptable. Or they did it to be rude, or insensitive.
And to make it even worse, the pastor refused to address the issue and correct those foul spirits. Either he was afraid of confrontation, afraid of the people, or unconcerned because he didn't care.
This behavior that was being displayed by the rude 'seat-saving' people, AND the pastor was wrong and NOT of God.
I repeat... NOT of God, Not even close. Not even close!
And Jesus even teaches and tells stories to rebuke that kind of bad spirit / bad attitude.
