"I was on my way home from work. I drove over 20 miles one way everyday, and I had just filled Jerri up with gas and got back on the highway. When someone who was not paying attention (he actually told the cop that he was leaned over, head down, digging in his glove compartment and didn't know why his truck suddenly veered to the left!) came onto the highway knocking down a fence and a light pole as they entered the highway!
I managed to avoid the lamp pole but I was caught off guard and couldn't avoid the truck that was coming toward me. The truck hit Jerri on the front passenger side door and fender. God Anointed Jerri and 'he' refused to allow that truck to take me directly into the median. Jerri held firm against that truck and pushed back for quite a distance until finally hitting the median and coming to a stop. I felt the hit of the truck impact slamming me into the driver's door. It was so fast, but I kept a firm hold onto the steering wheel and I refused to allow Jerri to go to the median, so we both put up a strong fight against this monster truck.
I have been told that if that truck would have immediately taken me into the concrete median, that I would have died instantly, but Anointed Jerri held his ground. Praise God for saving my life. Jerri did not care how big that truck was, it said "Mae Mae is in the vehicle and you are not going to take her life". Jerri put up a strong fight and sacrificed himself for me!
At the second impact, when we hit the concrete median, I remember a loud bang and the next thing I know I was waking up..."
Tune in for the next installment
