The insurance that they may, or may not have, doesn't really cover that much. They know the person they are living with needs more care than they can give them, but they don't want another bill on them, since they are struggling to pay bills that they already have.
Who said life was supposed to be easy? When you are on your own and trying to make a living without any assistance from the Government, then when you finally decide to swallow your pride and go and apply for Government assistance and the system tells you that you make a little more than the maximum amount, so you can’t get assistance from the Government
They don't want to lose the person they love. And they keep asking themselves ‘why me?’ and ‘when I tried, nothing worked for me, why?’ Who set up this system? For the people that really go out and work for a living don’t qualify for the help, but they are the ones who often need it the most.
Next time you see someone that seems to be always having a Great Attitude, just realize they may not be doing as well as you think, they might just be making the best of a tough situation. Have Compassion, get to know people, help those who actually need it - they are all around you every day!
