How many times have you gotten mad at someone for doing their job? I was in line behind an Angry customer who was trying to get this cashier to change the price and give them a really cheap discount. The cashier kept saying "I can't do that" the customer kept saying "yes you can" they said "no I can't" "are you going to purchase the item or not, I have other people in line?" The angry customer left the store.
Once the customer left the store the cashier said "this person was trying to get me to change the price on some jewelry behind the counter. There is a camera watching me, why would I risk my job and go to jail for someone I don't know? I will not do it for my family, I am not going to do it for them. I don't look good in orange."
I thought to myself, "why didn't they tell them that?" I think it would help them to understand why.
